[Q] Gmail pinch to zoom autofit problem

On 4.3 if you zoomed an email and tapped the screen you got an auto fit, but with the latest update to kitkat that function seems to be broken, well for me anyway. Does anyone else have this problem and is there a fix for it other than using a different email app?

I have noticed the same thing in some of my emails if I zoom out then back in it seems to fix the problem.... but no permanent fix that I kno of as of yet
