I happened to see GO Backup on the play store and was wondering if anyone's tried it yet.
Does it work as well as Titanium (App + data backup)??
I'm kinda irritated with Titanium because when I'm restoring like 50 apps, I have to wait and press the Install button 50 times which takes ages

uhm im also still kinda new to this but i got titanium backup pro and also made a backup so this is kinda interesting.

Did u try settings > batch?

Scroll down, recovery, fix all missing apps. Is that something?

im dutch so maybe the translation is not exactly good.

I use the free version of titanium.. and I do the batch thing but restoring all the apps is a pain. Takes almost half an hour which is why I almost never factory reset before flashing roms

I use Go backup, and backing up/restoring (app+data) is pretty easy, quick and accurate. the UI is pretty cool too.

i have not used titanium, but as im pleased with GB, im not going to try titanium.

Titanium backup is the original and best, I don't think go backup is ready to compete but its good for those who can't afford pro, anyone tried ultimate backup by jrummy on market? That one looks good

By the way: with the paid version of Titanium Backup you don't have to press a single Button when doing batch-operations. Works like a charm. Just press start and everything gets installed by itself...

You mean when I have to restore all my apps, I just click restore and let it do the rest? I don't have to keep pressing install for every app I restore?

Yes he meant that. Btw when I restore apps at some point titanium freezes and I must restart the phone. It's annoying.

Go Backup is free and it does exactly that. One press and it backs up all of my data (sms, emails, call history, wi-fi settings etc) and all my apps. Then, after superwiping and flashing a new rom, I just grab it from play store again, and restore my backup in one press, let it sit until it's done, and it's as though I didn't wipe anything at all :)

If you have purchased the pro version:
Titanium Backup
If you want a free App:
Go Backup

I like Apps like Go backup they dont do many things but the ones they do are perfect
If you want a quick and flawless method for Restoring your apps use Go Backup
If you want more Options etc choose Titanium Backup
And Yes solid explorer is great

There is one thing that GoBackup does that Titanium doesn't (I can find it anyware)... Backing up your widgets/homescreens... I haven't tried it yet, but that's a big deal for some...

Titanium backup will allow you to backup AppData only if you want. Go Backup does not have this option.

Go Backup will allow you to Batch Backup your own choice of apps (hand-selected). Titanium can only do ALL APPS as batch, or you can backup your own selection of apps one by one, but not in batch mode.

I use GO backup because I only have about 10 apps that I would like to backup and I don't want to go through them one by one. I wish GO would also let you just backup the AppData and not include the APK. This would make batch operations faster.
