[Q] goes download mode on battery insert

so after plugging wrong power adapter in my car I've got my phone entering download mode no matter what.

• On battery insert it goes download mode
• Odin doesn't recognize the device - tried on 2 computers with different cables
• Ignores every possible keys combination - goes download mode eventually.
• Holding power button does power down, but instantly goes back to download mode

So I'm quite hopeless. Dear community, would you please help?!

that dont sound too good

seems to me like too much power has been sent to the phone and damaged it...

its not like you can flash a stock rom if you cant get it recognised by ODIN.

Have you tried to see if KIES will detect it ? if it doesnt i think it may be undetectable and you may need to send it off to samsung for repair.

that's exactly the case - 12v instead of 4.75v... i'm quite surprised it still shows me something....
fresh update... now it's definitely dead.... even the downloading screen doesn't appear...

omg...

send it off for repair and say that this is the outcome of a kies update.

most likely motherboard burnt out, so should be very tricky for samsung to point the finger.

they do repairs daily, i doubt they will waste time fault finding.

easier to just repair / replace
