Guys whenever i try to talk to Google assistant it just force closes! Any tips?

It happened when I upgraded to 10. When into Play app and found the Google app and selected uninstall. It asks whether you want to uninstall updates. Evidently, can't be fully removed? Selected yes, and now all is well.
