[Q] Google Movies and rooted devices

I have done some searching but not found the answer I am looking for.

I cant rent movies on my Epic, cause it is rooted.

Is it the same for tablets, specifically the TF101?

If I root this device, will I be able to rent movies with Google Play, or will it be like my phone and not allow me.
