[Q] Google search almost unusable

Hi everyone. I'm running cromi-x, and for some reason, for quite a while, search is VERY VERY SLOW. It takes 90 seconds or longer to show any results. I usually give up and just open browser. Does anyone know of a solution?

I don't think this is a CROMI X issue; I think it's a Google search issue. When you have search results displayed, go to Settings>Tablet search and unchecked most, if not all of the apps it searches. I leave Contacts checked so that I can tell Now to email or text someone. Facebook app seems to be the stickiest of all and it won't appear in the tablet search menu. I uninsulated it on my phone and it was night and day difference in usability. I don't use the FB app on my tab so it's not an issue for me.

Thats just google's latest clusterf*ck. The entire search algorithm is a nightmare.

On an i7 3.2ghz 16gb ram and 60mbps internet, it still takes 10 seconds to load the image search. Worse if I scroll, the loading can take up to half a minute.
