[Q] Gorilla glass?

I just want to know if anyone can verify this? I have read it and know HTC uses the product.

But on its product page there is nothing and on the official site of gorilla glass there is nothing yet.

Anyone find confirmation?

Yeah I know so many have reported it.

I just can't find where corning or tmo has said it or show it.

That's my last major hurdle to clear. Thanks BTW

If all the reports already confirming it don't seem convincing enough. Consider history, look at all the HTC devices Corning has already confirmed:

HTC: 7 Mozart, 7 Surround T8788, Aria, ChaCha, Desire, Desire HD, Desire S, Desire Z, Dopod A6388, Dopod T8388, Dragon, Droid ERIS, Droid Incredible, EVO 4G, EVO Shift 4G, G1, G2, HD2, HD7, HD mini, Hero, Incredible S, Inspire 4G, Legend, myTouch 3G, myTouch 3G Slide, myTouch 4G, T9199, Thunder Bolt, Tianxi T9188, Salsa, Trophy, Wildfire, Wildfire S

Neither the carriers or HTC ever confirmed it in those either. Corning will probably update their list to mention the Sensation in time. The reports confirming it and the history of a relationship between HTC and Corning bears out that the Sensation having Gorilla Glass is fact.

better than regular glass. it's not scratch-proof. it's just scratch resistant. my milestone and ipod touch have scratches.

had my desire for a year now and only one scratch on it, no idea where it came from as i regularly put my phone in my pocket with money and keys and never had a scratch from it....if i use a cloth the glass is completely clear of scratches except a single 2 inche scratch i have, no idea how it got there though

im just curious, what kind of glass does the iphone 4 uses , my dad barely takes care of his and its spotless :/

Ignorance. Of course it can scratch. But its hard to do. Very hard if you take care of your phone.

only sand will scratch it, I only have one scratch on my Desire after 13 months, it was my college who dropped it on a sandy floor

and I have tried scratching it with my keys without getting a scratch.
