Hi,
anyone know if is possible to set an external GPS Bluethoot in place of internal GPS on cyanogenmod 10.1 (without allow mock locations) ?
I have the rom CM10.1 AOSP 4.2.2 Jellybean [KANG] by albinoman887 inside the settings i don't find any option about this.

external bluetooth gps

Hi,
by recently applying last update cyanogenmod 10.1.2, I've apparently lost the setting that I was using before in previous cm, I mean the ability to choose a external bluetooth gps source instead of the internal one( that is not very accurate on my device GT-I9000).
However the app 'Bluetooth GPS provider' gives back that ability, hope it helps if you can not find the setting in your cyanogenmod 10.1.

EDIT issue is referenced as CYAN-164 (cannot give url yet)
EDIT2 i'll give here the workaround app if I am able to find it

regards

I wound way to enable developer options in cyanogenmod 10.1.2. Depending on the version of Android this may be hidden by default. To enable it go to Settings -> About Phone and tap on 'Build Number' seven times. There you can use allow mock locations again.

yes but it does not give back the ability to choose an external source for GPS

My problem with allow mock locations option was that i could find it to able turn it on. I use app called bluetooth gps mouse + nokias bluetooth gps and mainly geocaching apps and sport tracker app with it. My Samsung Galaxys gps sucks, with this combo accuracy is far better on those apps.

workaround app for external GPS source

FYI 'Bluetooth GPS provider' by mobile-j.de is a good workaround app to replace the setting 'external source' lost in cyanogen mod 10.1.2
