Is it possible to overclock the Adreno 225 GPU, I play mostly N64oid and FPSE on my phone. Its for FPSE mostly because of the Open GL plugin might see some increase by overclocking the GPU. Also dose any one know what its running at currently, i'm not really sure if overclocking the CPU also overclocks the GPU if they are synchronized or something.

Any other emulator users out there that love using their phone for game play?

Here is an article to do it on your PC I was just thinking about this the other day http://m.tomshardware.com/reviews/overclock-graphics-card,1916.html

Yea.....I was just wondering if we had a kernel that had it OCed yet....that is what I meant by possible...with some chips the CPU and GPU need to be scaled the same to work correctly. So if the stock CPU speed is set so is the STOCK GPU speed......I think...do we even have a kernel OCing the CPU for the VGSIII?

Not sure if your trolling or what but Desktop GPU and Phone GPU are two different beasts. Not many people really even care to check what GPU is on a phone and how is stacks up against other phone GPUs. For example the Mali 400 in the Galaxy S II in the US makes the Galaxy S III GPU look like an old Voodoo card next to a GTX 480.....just saying we got ripped on the GPU hardware upgrade for the US iteration of the Galaxy S series. Its actually a downgrade and it blows now that I don't have sprint(because their network is trash).

Currently Verizon does not have a GPU in a phone with 4G that can match the Mali 400. I don't want to wait until the Galaxy Note 2 comes to Verizon...seeing as it has the same hardware as the international version of the Galaxy S III just with a bigger screen. However if a OCed GPU does not get me the performance I am looking for then I will be jumping to the GN2 as soon as it comes out.

The OP of the kernel thread you decide to look at should say whether the GPU is OC'd or not. For example, both TW kernels Trinity and Leankernel have the GPU OC'd to 480 mhz. If you're asking can we users manually OC the GPU, then I can't help you with that.
