A bit ghetto in my opinion, but this is the only hard case I've seen, but honestly haven't looked. At <$12 shipped it may be worth a shot.

Also, remember that you should be able to find something for the original iPad that will work with the Touch.

I could be wrong, but I think anything for an ipad will cover up the TP's speakers.
Look at the pictures of that silicone thing.

BTW, silicone is definitely not hard shell.

Copying my post from another thread about cases for the TouchPad:

Check this case out:

http://www.amazon.com/Philips-Acces...UTF8&qid=1314753101&sr=8-10&tag=5336653508-20

It's made by Philips for the iPad 2...but based on the case dimensions, it should nicely fit the TouchPad. And it has a few pluses:

1) It has an outer hard shell to protect the TP in case of an accidental drop - while it's in the case, of course

2) Inside the outer hard shell is an air-bubble soft layer to protect it from drops & bumps as well

3) The inside material of the case (the part that actually touches the TouchPad) is made from a micro-fiber material that's supposed to clean all of the fingerprints and such from the screen and back

And...on top of all that...if you buy it on Amazon from Electronics Expo, it's only about $10-11 shipped.

Not too shabby, if ya ask me :D
