[Q] Has anybody come up with a way to install REMIX OS on a chromebook ?

NOOBish Question, I understand about phones but chromebooks are not my forte....

My wife has a chromebook and I hate the chrome OS, I wish I could install the OS on it.

is there a way ?

To go along with this: the touchpad on most Chromebooks is not working. It's seems the RemixOS kernel does not include/doesn't properly load the chromeos_laptop module.
