[Q] HelllP!!! Atrix 100% cpu usage aFter OTA 4.1.91 updating!!!!

hey guys... past week i updated my unlocked atrix 4g via OTA ... since then my phone semms really buggy and laggy!! cannot even describe how laggy is that ****ty home screen.... + it looks like the scrolling speed of a Nokia N97 and since yesterday i couldnt log in to my gallery... it lags like insane!!! and after closing the Gallery my Notification bar shows "CPU alert 100% usage" ?????? after that every tym when i use a app it shows CPU usage is 100% .... this is supposed to be a dual core phone r8?? why is this?

* but i haven't hard reseted my phone after updating my phone! is that will be the problem???? plz help me guys!!!!!! :sad:

Back up your apps, and do a "factory reset".

This will wipe everything on your phone, but that would be the first thing that I would definitely do

BTW I also used to own a N97, glad I sold it...

Sorry to disappoint, but updating OTA after being unlocked was a really crappy idea.
Are you still unlocked? Do you have CWM?

I suggest you flash any other rom via fastboot, do a full wipe and it should fix your problems... If you are unlocked that is... which I don't think you are after doing the OTA.

LOL, it's not that bad, relax bro. It's not like you hard bricked.

Download and install this -
https://rsddownload.motorola.com/download/Motorola_Software_Update.exe

Connect your Atrix to PC, run it. It will most likely say something like "no updates for your device available, but we can restore it back to stock. Restore back to stock?"

Click yes. Wait for it to finish, all should be cool.

If your bootloader isn't unlocked, it won't brick your phone.

BTW, that program I linked is actually official software from Motorola for updating / restoring to stock your phone with the help of PC.

thanks Dude + i wanna knw why does my gallery lags like hell?? any explanation! cuz dude i tryed 4 tyms of master reseting and 1 tym of hard reseting!......

Bro does atrix lags at home screen in 2.3 stock??? cuz mine alot! and it turns to worse when i logs to my galery and go again to the home screen! 100% cpu **** comes..... will it be a hard wear prob! ... :'(

Download SD Speed Increase app from the market, follow instructions, problem solved.
