hi a friend gave me his galaxy ace on virgin uk to see if i could fix a error for him but for love nor money can i figure out what it wrong.

he is the background on phone

its about 3 weeks on gingerbread never been modded or touched in that way LOL

the problem is this if data or wifi is on it cant send texts it can receive them but can send it always fails. as soon as you turn data and or wifi off it works 100%, as u could Imagen this is bloody annoying, virgin say its a known issue and that there is a firmware update i have check this in the OTA app and it says no updates available.

so please can someone shed some light on this and how to fix it

thanks in advance

if this is problem from when it is purchased then it might be some bug or something.

but if this happened after some days of usage then as it is stock rom i would suggest do a titanium backup of apps and hard reset from recovery.. that might help you

If u have warranty, then take it to service center.
