[Q] Helly Bean 4.1.2 sometimes crash

Hello!

Im using Helly bean version and i have problems if i play some games, phone freeze and reboot.

My spect:

Model: I9000

Android version: 4.1.2

Baseband version: I9000XXJVT

Karnel version: 3.0.50-01332-g4a29976-dirty

I have OC cpu to 1.4 and 390 ram is that problem for crashing?

Any soulutions?

Or maybe some other rom? But i wanna rom for gaming

Have you tried clearing the app's cache?

Also, you could try to use Bigmem (what kernel are you using?)

OC could very well be your problem, perhaps the phone isn't stable at that state. Tried lowering it?

If a system can run at 1400, it does not necessarily follow that it can reliably function without random errors.

As the clocked speed increases, the error rate increases and reaches a point at which the designed redundancies in the chip cannot reliably operate.

Just because one captivate user can reliably operate at 1.4 OC, it doesn't mean that others can, even with identical software and operating conditions. And it's not clear how much, if any, the OC shortens cpu lifespan.

It's due to normal manufacturing variations in the electrical characteristics of each chip, as well as the assembled board.

If you happen to be lucky enough to receive a unit that reliably exceeds specs, cool. But 1.4 times rated speed without errors would be exceptional, not common, IMHO, unless Samsung had some reason to understate performance, LOL.
