[Q] [Help] Audio Frequency response of LG G2

Hello:

I was testing my LG G2. I generated some high frequencies tones audio files in my PC but when I playback on my phone I don't get a clean tone. Its like a mixtures of tones with lower freqs and a higer in the middle. Could anybody try it?

While I try to upload the files I've generated, there are some wave generators or tone generators in play store.

A simple description of what your running would be helpful. What kind of rom, kernel, etc.

I'm on bruce2728-d80220f rom. Default kernel 3.4.0.

Read here, they tested them for you (and very accurately):

But I want to know if what I get is normal or if I have some software or hardware related problem with my phone.

Just because the hardware is capable of having high end audio decoding, doesnt mean it's speakers or headphone output can reproduce it. Those "other tones" you hear are distortion because the phone cant play back the frequency that you want correctly.
