[Q] HELP* How to update manually from 4.1.2 to 4.3 on Mac

Hi,

I am not receiving update on android 4.3 and wanna manually update it through my mac, this is my first android phone so i am not an expert on rooting or flashing (i barely know how to do that). I had previously rooted my phone somehow and then i wanted to relock my phone so i installed a RUU provided by another xda-developer user, *he gave me complete instructions how to do it*.

I would be glad if someone could link me or guide me through how to update my phone using my mac. Below are my phone's details i dont know which information is required to understand what RUU is going to work so i just wrote everything. P.S I donot know what is S-off and if my device is S-off or on.

I have android 4.1.2 on my phone, software number is 1.26.502.12
Kernel Version: 3.4.10-g0a0f902
[email protected] #1
SMP PREEMPT

Baseband version:
4A.14.3250.13_10.33.1150.01L

BUILD NUMBER:

1.26.502.12 CL166754 RELEASE-KEYS

I did download it, but on a macbook RUU.exe doesnt work and when i tried it on windows the file doesnt work it just doest do anything.

For it to work on my mac i would need a RUU.zip and could you guide me how to install recovery and the S-Off thing.

sorry about that i dont think a ruu.zip is available and i dont feel like i could guide you with s-off and recovery i dont have a mac and would be afraid i would do more damage then good
