[Q] Help! HTC one m7 at&t not updating

Hi guys,

I need your help please. I bought my htc one m7 a year ago in USA. the phone is at&t branded but internationally unlocked for any SIM card. I went back home to Serbia and phone works fine with my Serbia SIM card but the problem that I'm having is that phone is not updating at all. I still have 4.3 android. In the settings the option is not saying software update but it says at&t software update, just to give you a clearer picture. So I don't know if I need at&t SIM card for it to be able to update the phone or what. Is there some other way to clear my phone like its not bond to any carrier?

at&t phone can only be updated using ot aupdates if they are connected to the at&t network.
To de-brand your phone you will need to s-off and flash the dev edition ruu.

I need to update my phone with HTC Sense 6.0 but formally .. What is better way to do it without affecting the phone ?

can I do your steps without root ?
I have not do any root to my device before or s-off
my phone have 4.3 with sense 5.0
