[Q] HELP NEEDED! HTC One M8 - Canada, Telus - Cannot Boot

Well, actually, it's more than just a "failed to boot". Before I continue, I have an adb backup, but I can't really get to adb, so...

Basically, I had just finished unlocking my bootloader and rooting my HTC One M8 with SuperSU. I downloaded insertcoin, but boy did I download the wrong thing. Instead of downloading the img, I downloaded the UPGRADE img that was supposed to upgrade 3.0.6 to 3.0.7. I didn't have 3.0.6 installed, so I was scared when my phone was stuck at the green HTC logo for 5 minutes.

And now, I've tried everything. Pretty much every fastboot command doesn't work. I can't flash a recovery image or anything like that. I can't access my devices files, so I can't place the actual insertcoin img into my files. Fastboot is showing *** TAMPERED *** and *** UNLOCKED *** on the top of the screen.

I can access recovery fine, and I've did a full restore of the dalvik cache, cache, data, system and everything else.

I just got this phone yesterday, and I have no idea what to do.

Please help.

How do I fix it?

Well download the full rom(IC/ARHD/Viper) then move the rom in external sd then flash via recovery.You can also use usbotg.Also you can sideload the rom via adb in twrp recovery.for more instructions in sideload google it.

Wow, that worked! I didn't think of that at the time.

I had an old 8GB MicroSD card laying around in my old R4DS, so I formatted that and downloaded the proper IC file onto it, and boom, I'm now back up and running in Android. SuperSU is now installed, and all I need to do is run firewater to get into S-off.
