[Q] Help!!! New Samsung Galaxy Fit Bricked.

So i got a brand new Samsung Galaxy Fit S5670 and I turned it on to check if its working,(it did) played with it for like 10 minutes all was good. so i turn it off, put in a Sim Card, a 2G memory card, and connected it to the computer to put songs in it but it wouldnt turn on. i tried taking out the battery for 10 min and putting it back, but still nothing.

Notes
*This is my first samsung phone
*Kies detects it when i connect it but its stuck on connecting.
*Odin also detects it but i dont know how to use it (I dont know how to use Odin AT ALL)

Please guys I need urgent HELP!!!!

odin is really quite easy. if you have it detected you have the hard part accomplished. now you just find the files you need for your phone. i'm sorry i dont know where they are, i'm a vibrant owner. but you would end up with a .pit a .tar or .tar.md5 and perhaps more files. load them each into the place they obviously belong in odin and hit go.

U can find Galaxy FIT firmware files at samfirmware.com
Download them and use odin to flash ur device.

I just downloaded the file from samfirmware, i got 4 tar.md5 files,
odin 4.38 and an OPS file but i dont know how to use odin at all,
if someone could explain id be very happy(and 10 times happier if it would fix the phone)

Select ops file in OPS section.
In boot section select APBOOT.
In Phone section select MODEM.
In PDA section select CODE.
and last
In CSC section select CSC.
connect ur device and click START.

EDIT: Crap when upload the "CODE_S5670XWKA3_CL878390_REV01_user_low_true.tar.md5" file to PDA
Odin crashes, but i tryed clicking start even without the PDA but its stuck on "Setup connection..."
*I saw somewhere you need to put the phone on download mode, but i cant do that my phone doesnt do anything when i hold Up/Down + Power + Home i tryed and tryed but nothing.

hold volume down + home and switch on ur phone.
Not Up/Down + Power + Home.

You dont get it, i tryed both:
Up + Power + Home AND Down + Power + Home
But it wont help since there isnt any display nor voice

Spiider11 i tryed both and it still doesnt put it in download mode.
Taranfx I am using odin I just dont know how to use it and im getting some errors

Last option for u. Go to samsung service centre.

To get into download mode power off and take out battery. Plug in usb cable and Hold volume down and home I guess for the fit (mesmerise is just volume down) now place your battery back in while holding the buttons. That usually does it if you've got your key combo correct.

Im not sure about uploading the md5 file..are u sure..u could post a screebshot of odin with all the files chosen....

VolDown + Home + Power works fine...
see this guide if u havent...
