STOP flashing custom roms..... that always kill your phone , just stay with a oficial firmware and no root. and stuff like that. mi ZL is clean and working perfectly

Wrong Daniel, my ZL went from 4.2 official to 4.3 official, didn't unlock, didn't do any "unofficial" stuff on it, I don't even have it rooted since his 8GB are plenty for me.

That being said, this problem is DEFINELTY not comming from unlocking / rooting / using custom rom, so feel free to do it at will.

Been bootloader unlocked, rooted, and have flashed numerous CUSTOM rooms since the day I got this phone almost a year ago. And the only problem it has are the black dots in the camera, which is a hardware problem that has affected customized and unmodified devices alike. You can stay stock if you want, but your missing out, and risk the same possible issues as everyone else.

Is that right? Whe should start a new thread with symptoms like Upgrades, model version of the device AND chargers used lastly ( still thinking that's not the problem )

PD: Luckily I'm getting a new battery( used actually, torn apart from a totally destroyed device ) in 2 days from now and check if that's the real problem.
its not a bad issue regarding battery.. checkout sony's official bootloader unlock page where we get the keys..there terms and conditions before unlocking the bootloader describes that they are not responsible for any hardware damages because of OVERHEATING. nd etc, etc...

The thumbs up was accidental, but now it's legit for you making me laugh with this comment!

I assume if Sony mentioned something about not being responsible for spontaneous combustion, you'd sleep with a fire extinguisher under your pillow, haha

Hell, I is going exactly the same, I am from Argentina , and here in Argentina everything goes much more expensive , I had to spend a month 's salary to buy my work xperia Zl , buy in January. It seems a joke two days before this happens, I had unlocked the bootloader , so I thought that was the problem. However, I see that you have the same problem and not for those reasons.

The funny thing is that I run out of warranty by a margin of two days , if it had been two days before, the story would be different .

I personally have insured against all risks , however I find a way to make it work without having to go to secure (probably tarden months to pay me and I want another phone ) , if any of you could fix on your own, for example loading it and downloading it , putting it in the fridge , in the oven , changing the battery, or making him a circle of salt, please share .

Personally I can not wait 20 days for the warranty, they are 20 days I can not read the mails from work without sitting all day on the PC.

Personally , right now I'm loading it up to 100 % ( 100 is a magic number , secure the battery falls and manages one when that happens ), then I totally download it to explode, or fix only . I will look into " Mercadolibre " (like ebay) to see if I find some spare parts for xperia zl .

Cute phone , full of ****

Idioma natal:

Hello janboman, that sucks

I took my phone to a repair center called Long Cell (the name of the place is actually Longvideo). You can find it here: http://www-static.se-mc.com/blogs.dir/6/files/2012/04/Service_locations_BR_20120405.pdf

I don't know how things are handled where you took your phone to. In my case, the authorized repair center doesn't do any repair at all on mobile phones, they just send it to Sony (words of the person who attended to me).

You can try sending it to another repair center, but if this is also your case, they probably will send the phone to the same place...

They claim that your phone was damaged by oxidation...
There's a sticker inside the phone that changes color when it comes in contact with water/liquids, which is proof that it was water-damaged.
(I don't know where it is, and you can't see it without opening the phone and thus voiding the warranty).

Maybe you can ask them to show it to you, so that you can argue...

Good luck!

Boa sorte!
