[Q] HELP Porting KitKat ROMs?

I have been trying to port the latest PA build for my Galaxy Note GT-N7000. I looked up the guides on xda forums, but I keep getting stuck at boot.
I tried porting using the PA 4.0-ALPHA and Omni-4.4.2-NIGHTLIES as base, but no results...

Can anybody help me with this??

BTW, maybe I should clarify...I want to port from zip, not source(as I don't really know how to work with source and don't have the time to learn right now... )
