hello guys. i just got these beautiful Z1 Compact last week. it's on lollipop 5.0.2, build number 14.5.A.0.270 and i want to root it, backup my drm keys, and keep X-Reality, camera quality, and all the other Sony stuff.

i've been reading the xda xperia forums, and it seems there exists a paradox when it comes to making a TA backup on lollipop (but correct me if i am wrong):
you need to unlock the bootloader in order to root the phone, in order to backup TA. But since by then i will have already unlocked the BL, my drm keys will be already deleted, because unlocking the BL causes that. kitkat users can root without BLU, though. So i've come here with the following questions:

1) is there a way to safely root a Z1c on 5.0.2, without BLU?
2)if not then, it has occured to me that i could first downgrade to KK, then root, backup TA , and finally flash a 5.0.2 PRF on top of rooted KK. is all this actually possible? how can i downgrade to KK (it is the only step i dont know how to do)??
3) is it possible to dirty flash the same firmware on top of one another, maintaining the bootloader unlocked? ( create a .270 prf and flash it on top of a non-rooted .270 fw?)

The step number 2 is the only method for now for rooting with locked bootloader. To downgrade, You simply flash a Kitkat .108 FTF via flashtool. Do take backup first though.
As for third step, it is possible to do dirty flash, but to flash You need recovery and for recovery You need root, so in a way You cannot flash PRF on non-rooted .270 FW.
