Hi,

I'm trying to see if rooting my phone was successful. I used the method in the sticky of this forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1311081 I used 2a Doomlord's method.

So ya... How can I tell if I succesfully rooted the phone? I thought something would show in odin mode but nothing in there seem to indicate whether the root was a success? I just see the flash counter and custom rom indicator

I'm currently running ucmd8 kitkat

A fairly easy way to is to download an app that checks for root privileges, like Titanium Backup. If it fails the root test try Odin again - or use Framaroot (an app), and select the Aragon method.
