Anyone put in AT&T and T-Mobile SIM in Verizon Samsung S5?
Are you able to get data working? Which APN settings did you use? 3G, 4G, or LTE?

I can confirm that the Galaxy S5 does support AT&T's HPSA+ network, but not their LTE network. However, at least in my area, they seemed to give pretty much the same speed; HPSA+ is quite capable.Anyone put in AT&T and T-Mobile SIM in Verizon Samsung S5?

what setting are you using? I also have an S5 form verizon with a T-mobile SIM Card.. everything works except sending pics in mms..I'm currently using tmobile sim in a verizon s5. Everything is working for me. I'm in a rear med 3g area so I get hspa+ speeds for 3g and lte also works. The only thing is that I have to switch network modes to get lte. When I switch I only have access to data until I switch back to 3g/UMTS .
what kind of problem sending mms?what setting are you using? I also have an S5 form verizon with a T-mobile SIM Card.. everything works except sending pics in mms..
Thanks in advanced for any advice!
On the Verzion s4, I was able to just put in my sim card and and change the mobile setting from cdma to global. To get 4G LTE on t-mobile, I would just add the t-mobile fast apn.For those of you who got this working, can you explain exactly what you did? The phone is not SIM locked, but it doesn't seem to roam to TMobile or ATT when one of their SIMs in inserted. An Australian SIM, which roams to TMobile when in a Nexus 5, yields the same behavior (no service) in the galaxy S5.
This behavior is in line with other VZW phones I've had -- they work internationally -- but will not roam off of VZW in the US. The phone reverts to "emergency calls only" when a non VZW SIM is used in the US.

Well, apparently it is not. I'm happy to post screenshots of the phone with an (active) TMobile SIM in it -- nothing happens. On the Verzion s4, I was able to just put in my sim card and and change the mobile setting from cdma to global. I'm sure this is the same case with the VZN S5
I didn't do anything special with my VZW Galaxy S5. I simply popped in an AT&T SIM, turned the phone back on, and I immediately had voice service. I had to add in the APN info to get data to work, but that's the only thing I had to do.Well, apparently it is not. ***update.I have an S5 and I'm using it on T-Mobile without any issues.. However, when I get a picture message it retrieves it as a a group message.
Does anyone know how to work around this? So I can receive mms in the standard thread

Native hotspot won't work with no plan before we got root, if we ever get it. I've read here Foxfi app allows usb and Bluetooth tethering, but I haven't tried yet.***update.
Mobile hotspot tethering also does not work!!! If anyone knows a workaround for both I'd greatly appreciate it.

I got a AT&T Sim Card to work on the Verizon GS5 (both voice & data) but how do I get rid of the "Phone Activation: This SIM card is from an unknonw source." from the notification menu?
