Well, I was told I can't do the latest right away since my hboot is old. I need to start from original and do the incremental updates.
RUUs can go straight to the newest ;)

EDIT: Uploading the ZIP now, link coming soon :)

OK, this is what you need:

0P6BIMG_M8_UL_L50_SENSE60_MR_TMOUS_4.20.531.4_Radio_1.23.213311491.05G_20.57.4198.02_F_release_420431_signed_2 - Rename it ruu.zip for ease of use

So, to update on your Mac

1. Reboot the phone into RUU mode - fastboot oem rebootRUU
2. Flash the RUU, but use THIS version of Fastboot from HTC - fastboot flash zip ruu.zip
3. Allow it to finish the process
4. Once finished, rebot to the bootloader to make sure it's all correct - fastboot reboot-bootloader
5. Boot into the stock recovery and do a factory reset to be on the safe side

I am assuming you have the correct CID/MID already

@scotty1223, I have a vzw m8 but I'm a T-Mobile customer, I don't plan on using this on anything other than tmo, could I change MID to T-Mobile so that I'm able to flash that firmwear? Currently s-off, supercid and twrp. I do realize I can't do anything about radio bands, but I am in the new reframed network area. Thx. What would your recommended set up be for a person in my case?
No. You can NOT convert vzw or sprint CDMA "world phones" to gsm. You can simply use the phone on t mobile's network with vzw software, its not simlocked

My recommendation would be to simply use the phone as is. You can use a 3rd party MMS app if the stock one gives you trouble. If you're not a fan of sense, install a cm ROM,as MMS,you tube, etc will all just automatically work correctly with no workarounds.

My gf uses a stock mid/cid/firmware DNA running cm11 on t mobile and has been for several months with no issue

Ah, OK. Why do you need T-Mobile US
I'm interested in this answer as well. As I stated, flashing the t mobile ruu does not give you access to 1700 band LTE or hspa 4g.

So unless you just want to have t mobiles proprietary bloat ware, using the t mobile software doesn't give you any advantage.

IMO us developer or EU unbranded is a nicer way to go. No bloat and much faster updates

I have no idea why someone would actively want bloatware! :D

I guess if you're out of the network and in WiFi a lot,the stock WiFi calling feature could be handy, but google voice/hangouts let's you do the same thing.

Some of t mobiles bloat is in the play store and easily installable on other Roms. I put t mobile "my account" and "visual voicemail" on my gf's cm11 DNA and they work just fine

Actually, the main reason I want T-Mobile firmware is I want to use softpay instead of google wallet.
The other reason is that whatever crap I have now, HTC__017, it still has 4.4.2 and show no signs it would ever want to get updated.

Can you not use Softpay with any version? Doesn't seem to be linked to T-Mobile USA

Actually it is called Softcard.
When I had T-Mobile version with my previous M8, I was abale to use it. Now, whith stock HTC, it won't let me to install it saying it is not compatible. This is a competitor to Google Wallet from AT&T, T-Mobile & Verizon.

OK. Well, using the files I provided you'll be back to the stock T-Mobile US firmware and ROM so it should work

Now I understand how ridiculous it is. Softcard gives you $1 for each transaction using AmEx. So we have a vending machine at work, where you can buy junk food for $1.25, so with the softcard it is $0.25
But I've already spent $25 for S-OFF. Lol. Anyway, I'll try to flash tonight (PST) and let you know.

Btw, if I put stock Google firmwareofor m8 (I think it is called m8 Google Dev Edition or smth), will I be able to use duo camera effects like focus adjustment? And Zoe?
Thanks.
