Mine is different.
I've tried to download zip RUU for Google Play edition, which is just 600Mb and installed just fine.
Also I've tried to download couple of big zip files on 3 devices I have, they are all getting corrupt.

Do you have time for another experiment? Rename zip to something else (.abc) and upload one more time?

Also, since I have 1.19 HBOOT, I've tried to restore TWRP backups for T-Mobile firmware, but it got failed half way thru.

Thanks!

You HAVE to use the fastboot version I linked to from HTC, the Google one doesn't work. If you have used that, it might be Windows-only to get that working so the only other option would be to copy the ZIP to a microSD card and rename it 0P6BIMG.zip and do it that way

That's because you have the GPe bootloader! No wonder it's not working!

You first need to use this ZIP to get back to the Sense bootloader and then you can flash the RUU. Change your CID to 11111111 before starting to stop any possible errors and then change it back to the T-Mobile one before flashing the RUU

This is where giving all the information helps ;)

fastboot-mac flash zip 1.54.401.5-W_Splash.zip
?
also android-info.txt has no 11111111, but has HTC__001
should I use it?

Anyhow, I changed cid to 11111111, I did relock the bootloader and flashed this zip as is.
Now I have white HTC splash, but after that it gives me red triangle and ! and stuck in the bootloop
Exactly like this poor guy:

Still working..

Ok, finally I was able to load into recovery mode and flashed the zip you sent me from SD card, now I have 5.0.1 TMobile rom, thanks!!

You have the M8s variant.

The RUU versions 2.xx are hard to find for your variant. May not even be available.

You can look on the M8s specific section for more info: https://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-m8/one-m8s-general
