It is supposed to be like that. Unlike older Xperia devices which had a a persistent green led for flash mode, newer devices like ours simply blink green for one second and then turn off. Don't worry, you are doing everything properly. Just let it detect your phone and the flashing procedure will start.

But he does not go into flashmode, it blinks and keeps asking me to connect the phone in flash :crying:

I had the same troubles with my ultra t2 dual since yesterday but I found a solution. I have only this troubles to get the phone on flashmode because haven't that on fastboot mode.
So how to put your phone in flashboot.
Turn off your phone and during the shutdown process hold power off and volume down button. Be careful because you HAVENT green led, it look like your phone is shutdown because the screen is off but you can check it with flashtool.
The green led is only for fastboot mode.

I had the same troubles as your with my t2 ultra dual.
No problem to get fastboot mode because the green led is in but not in flashmode this is strange...
So how to put your phone on flashmode.
Turn off your phone and during the shutdown process hold off button and volume down, if that work flashtool will display it enter in flashmode. Dont worry no green led and the screen is off.
