how root / recovery / ROM AT&T SM-N900A Lollipop 5.0?

i want to root and ROM my SM-N900A. All of my googling leads to methods involving De La Verga which says wont allow proper ROM, just a "temp root", or methods based on kitkat or older. This model seems to be the exception to instructions i find for rooting the Note 3.

So, can you point me in the proper route to root my SM-N900A At&t while i'm on lollipop 5.0?
and then, to recovery / rom - TWRP? Safestrap? Clockwork?
