[Q] How to Backup Stock rom

Hi everyone, i'm new here and in android system. I want to root my Star Duos, but i want to know how can i back up my stock rom to flash it into stock if something got worng... And it's possible root it with out odin?

FlashCustom recovery CWM via ODIN...

Boot into CWM by vol up+home+power button....
Go backup and restore nd backup current rom...
And u can root galaxy star by dis method...
Download UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.04.zip from
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2474165
and copy to root of external sd card and boot via CWM and flash d file...

Its not d kernel jst CWM... der is no custom kernel for our phone jst stock modified kernel...
