ok so heres the deal... ive been having problems with my evo no matter what ROM i use with car mode. it randomly activates itself and its pretty frustrating. when i exit out it closes current applications then a few seconds later it activates again. 
i was wondering if there was a way to remove car mode from the system. and i mean from the actual system. im running a nightly CM6 right now, but like i said, doesnt matter which rom. i deleted carhomelauncher.apk and carhomegoogle.apk. car mode still activates randomly. i unistalled packages com.android.cardock and com.google.android.carhome and when i rebooted guess what... i booted up in car mode. is there anywhere else that i missed or does anyone know how to permanently disable it from the actual OS?
PS. if someone can pass along a nandroid back up of a fresh CM6 install that would be something i havent tried. just flash cm6 after wiping data/cache/dalvik and then immediately nandroid. no gapps. i have a custom script for that. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
