[Q] How to deodex a stock froyo?

I was wondering if you can deodex a stock froyo rom, or at least how to get a deodexed rom on the phone without losing all the data on it.

I have been using the phone for about half a year and I don't want to lose all the info on it (SMS, emails - lotus, apps, settings etc.)

as you said you one year, your warranty was void

rooted, tweaked, some stock apps removed, installed franco kernel, but I am still using the stock rom because I do't want to lose the apps I have installed and all the data, as I have mentioned.

I guess a good backup program (for data, apps, sms) would also do the same thing, in the end, but I don't know of a free one.

The google market already restores most of the apps you installed, but titaniun backup does an very good job

search google for xUltimate-v2.2.8
run this program and you can deoedex any rom while using it
