I recently found a beginers guide (Finally.) For rooting nook hd+ , sadly My nook auto updated. (T..T) and now i need a guide to downgrading my nook back to 1.0.4 to root it.
(Nooks are excellent book readers, but bad tablets when not rooted..)
Not possible. And even if you could, it would upgrade itself again. Your best solution if you want it rooted is to go to my HD/HD+ CWM thread linked in my signature for rooting.
Oh, and I assume you meant 2.0.4 and 2.0.5.

Edit: Yup.. Now I've noticed accidentally putting 1.0.5 instead of 2.0.5..
Could have sworn I saw something about downgrading to 2.0.2 a while back though..
You can take it back to 2.0.0 if you want, but unless you use my special rooted version in that thread I mentioned, it will just upgrade itself again.
Edit: maybe what you saw about 2.0.2 was resetting to 2.0.0 and it updating automatically to 2.0.2 because that was the latest version then.
