[Q] How to get NFC working with 4.4.4 or 5.0.2

Hi all

Been looking for this for quite some time now without success.
Is there anyway to get NFC woeking with 4.4.4 or 5.0.2? (using cyanogen).

I paid extra for the NFC version since i use it for a few things so i don't want to give it up.

The closest i could find was http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2241936 but it's a much older version of android.

On a side note getting tired of Samsung phones because of this. Great when new with recent stock roms but as soon as i want to update them i have to start sacrificing things i paid for. Or is the same with all brands?

I think there is no NFC function in cm roms, since they're developed for regular s3mini. My s3mini is a nfc model too. They should develop a rom with NFC ability.

Seems the NFC version was sold in small numbers.

Better go for a nexus next time

Is that any patch that can fix???and...another fix NFC patch for other phone can be work on us ??? I am using NFC model too
