[Q] how to get wifi logs on CM10 to diagnose connection problem?

Hi all, I have a wifi connection problem with my CM10 defy+ and my adsl 2+ router DG834GT by Netgear.
I would like to know what's happening on defy's side while attempting to connect to the router.

Is there a way to obtain wpa_supplicant's log?
I heard about logcat, dmesg, adb.. what are these?
