[Q] How to monitor calls to files from proccesses (ala ProcMon) on Android

Hi guys,

On windows you can use a application like FileMon or PRoc Mon to see what files are running and narrow down what files are being accessed by proccesses, does something like this exist for Android? I am wanting to troubleshoot the fingerprint reader not working on 2.3.4 and it seems logical to start here.
