Okay I spent HOURS and HOURS last night trying to do this.. but still unsucessful.. I ready SOOOO many howto's and guides, but still none work.. let me explain
First guide I read said to use ROm Manager option to partition, but when I did this, it just rebooted into recovery saying it couldnt flash update.zip (i used 512 ext, 32 swap). I tried several times, finally figured out if I use reboot recovery from the recovery menu, ClockworkMod continued and seemed to partition it.
I then tried to do the ext2 - ext3 but couldnt find the options..
next couple guides that I tried suggested using ADB.. I downloaded, installed it, and tried following those guide (one even included a bat/.sh file to do it automatically), but when I tried to use it OR do it manuall I get an error that 'parted' could not be found.
I am currently running ClockworkMod 2.5.0.1 SLCD on the Telus Desire, and for the life of me CAN NOT find a guide that will work to install an ext partition to use with a2sd so that I can flash a most customized ROM.. anyone got any suggestions? or a link to a guide that works? Hell even a was to fix my 'parted' problem?? REALLY gottten quite aggrevated about this LOL
