Phone is not starting

I tried to root my Ace 2 I8160,
1. Phone was detected by Odin
2. Successful installation of "I8160XXLD8_ready_to_root_ANT.tar.md5".
3. Phone reboot and restart again and again.
4. I removed the battery to shut it down and now phone is not restarting. Neither in Download/Recovery mode.

Help required please.

Hi
I tried following your instructions, but after using odin to flash I8160XXLD8_ready_to_root_ANT.tar.md5 using the PDA bit, the phone doesn't seem to go into recovery mode or indeed boot up. It lets me enter download mode but that's about it.
Or is this first boot supposed to take a very long time?

Any suggestions to fix?
(My model is the i8160L btw - another forum said this method would work with my model).

Probably, there should be no issues while using this kernel with any of i8160 firmware, known at this moment.
