[Q] How to show up & down arrows in wifi icon?

The upload & download arrows are in the wifi icon itself. I dont't know if its possible for gingerbread. Just curious.

this will be of no help - they would just be icons with arrows that dont light up

you would need to mod the framework but iv not seen a way to do this on gingerbread - maybe there is way and I just havent come accross it

Ok. I tried adding the .png files but it didn't work. Assumed there was more to it.
