Hi everybody,
I bought an HTC Aria one month ago in ebay. I'm an spanish user, so I cannot connect 3G (here we use 900/2100) :-(
I have been reading there are three different versions of ARIA, which is very strange. I'm experienced user, and this is the first time I see the same phone with 3 versions with the only difference in the band they operate (well, for Gratia and A6380 is the same frequency). I don't think HTC spend extra money for developing identical phones for working on 2 different 3G standard...I'm sure it's cheaper a phone for both standards.
Anyway, just for fun: if you go to *#*#4636#*#* "Phone information" "menu", you can select frequencies for: USA, Europe, Asia, Australia. I have tried selecting Europe, but I cannot get european 3G :-(, do you think it would be useful somehow?
Best Regards,
P.D.: if anyone interested in changing its A6380 for my A6366, please contact me...I still need 3G on my Aria...
