100% Working ClockworkMod for Htc Desire 310 single sim

Hi

Here is a small tutorial how to install ClockworkMod version 5.5.0.4 on Htc Desire 310 single sim ( Android version 4.2.2 with Build number 1.01.862.1)

Maybe is working for dual sim, I do not have it so that I do not know. Maybe if someone with dual sim try and tell us.

Of course you can, just find a good tutorial for MtkDroidTools v2.5.3 + right adb drivers and follow step by step.
Just in case create a back up of your own rom so you can later restore it with SP-FlashTool. If something go wrong brick, boot loop etc..

No problem, you are welcome. You can create backup of your stock rom with MtkDroidTools and you can use Titanium Backup for all your apk.
So if you brick your phone your can restore your rom with SP-FlashTool and later all apk with Titanium Backup.

- Backup all your contact with export/import option - find vcf file and save on the pc
- Backup all your sms with SMS Backup & Restore - find xsl and xml file and save on the pc
- Backup all your images and videos on the pc
- Save all your backup from Titanium on the pc

What ever you do (CWM,root,update etc..) on your android always is a chance to brick phone + everything you do on your own risk.
I can not answer that with a 100% that you'll make it to install with ClockworkMod on Build number 1.00.401.14.

I tried to do a backup with MtkDroidTools v2.5.3 but it failed.
When i connected the phone while it was on, the program recognized my phone and the log showed this: "ATTENTION! File /system/recovery-from-boot.p which restore factory recovery in case of phone switching on in a normal mode Is Found!"
I pressed the ROOT button and answered yes and the log showed: "ATTENTION! Requests for confirmation on the device screen are possible!".
I gave the permission with supersu and then the log showed: "
--- ERROR :system it was not remounted on ReadWrite!
--- ERROR : file adbd not install !".
How do i fix?

Backup stock rom

Mtkdroidtools 2.5.3 can't do backup of userdata and cache file. If i want to flash my backup with SP-flash tool, i have to select empty file cache and userdata? Or i have to put them virgins in my backup before flash?

P.S. I followed this guide and now I'm on Galaxy S5 ROM ported for HTC Desire 310

To install CWM on Single Sim HTC Desire 310, first you have to download:

1. OTA Update
2. CWM for SingleSIM

Steps:

1. Put the OTA (named as update.zip) and the CWM on your SDCard
2. Reboot to Recovery (Volume UP + Power)
3. Select "apply update from sdcard" voice
4. Choose our update.zip (OTA)
5. It will return an error (as our device is already updated) and it will let you choose two options. SELECT REBOOT SYSTEM NOW
6. After the phone is fully booted up, proceed to install the recovery as you wish (You can use Rashr or MobileUncle MTK Tools or whatever you want)
7. After install, reboot to recovery ET VOILA!

If you want the best ROM, here it is: Galaxy S5 ROM MOD
