[Q] HTC Desire 310, need help for root, rom, cwm ...

Hello Guys!
I have some excellent news!! Finally i managed to put a CWM to my HTC D310! All you have to do is follow this tutorial, it's real easy!

I HAVE FOUND THIS TUTORIAL HERE AND I HAVE JUST FOLLOWED IT AND MAKE IT EASIER FOR YOU TO DO IT. (BECAUSE THERE ARE SO MANY POSTS AND ITS IN RUSSIAN). SO SAY THANKS TO pavloseredjuk, & Gregorius_MC !


If you have installed the software update, continue reading. If not go to step C.

a. Getting the Required files!
1.a Download This. That is a HTC D310 Official Firmware.
2a. Download SPFlashTool and extract it somewhere. (ex. Desktop\FlashTools)
3a. Download MTKDroidTools
4a. Download the Driver and this one too and install them!
5a. Download the recovery

b. After you download and install/extract all of this above, proceed:
1b. Remove the battery from the phone, and start up the SpFlashTool ( in windows7 run as Admin)
2b. Click on the Scatter Loading, and locate where you have extracted the file in Step 1a. When u open the folder, u will have MT6582_scatter_1.00.1402.6. (Downloading agent - DA_SWSEC.bin)
3b. When the SPFlashTool is done reading the Scatter, you go to -> Options ->Download-> DA with CheckSum TICK IT! AND DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING ELSE (in options)
4b. Now, go back to the main screen and click DOWNLOAD.
5b. After clicking download, hold the VOL- button on your phone while plugging it with the usb cable! Hold it untill u see the RED bad on your SpFlashTool! After that - the process for flashing begins ( it takes for 5-10 minutes).

c. After you have flashed the phone:
1c. Root it! (RootGenius is good)
2c. Install Link2SD
3c. Open Link2SD and fine the EMAIL.apk, and uninstall it ( you can do it in other ways, just uninstall some system APP)
4c. Go to About Phone ->Software update -> AND DOWNLOAD THE UPDATE!
5c. When is finished downloading, click Install. The phone will try to install the UPDATE, but it will fail. So you click reboot system now. ( very important step)
6c. Right away you start up the MTK Droid Tools. Click the Root button ( down-right) to get the Shell Root.
7c. Go to the Root Backup and Recovery tab and click Install already prepared files!
8c. Than you choose the ones you got in the step 5a. It will ask u do you want patched boot, you click NO, than click yes twice!
9c. That would be all!!
d. If you were succesful at installing CWM, and you want a newer, CWM 6 version?
- Download this and flash it via rashr.

P.S To access the CWM, turn off phone, hold VOL+ and POWER Button! :laugh:

Hello guys, I made a backup of my desire 310 with MtkDroidTools 2.5.3. This version does not backup the data cache and userdata. Now I would like to know to restore this backup with SP-Flashtool can flash the folder !Files_To_FlashTool without indicating any cache files and userdata? Thank you

Hey guys,
I don't know if someone already told you how to install CWM, but I want to share what I discovered by translation of 4pda.ru forum.

P.S. I followed this guide and now I'm on Galaxy S5 ROM ported for HTC Desire 310

To install CWM on Single Sim HTC Desire 310, first you have to download:

1. OTA Update
2. CWM for SingleSIM

Steps:

1. Put the OTA (named as update.zip) and the CWM on your SDCard
2. Reboot to Recovery (Volume UP + Power)
3. Select "apply update from sdcard" voice
4. Choose our update.zip (OTA)
5. It will return an error (as our device is already updated) and it will let you choose two options. SELECT REBOOT SYSTEM NOW
6. After the phone is fully booted up, proceed to install the recovery as you wish (You can use Rashr or MobileUncle MTK Tools or whatever you want)
7. After install, reboot to recovery ET VOILA!

If you want the best ROM, here it is: Galaxy S5 ROM MOD

Hey man, I run me your method by installing the recovery.
And then install the rom Galaxy S5 MOD ROM, the installation was successful no mistake, the problem is when I start the mobile "" remains frozen logo Samsung Galaxy S5 "" and does not progress.

PS: I did before installation 3 wipes , any suggestions?

already solve it !!!!!!!! at last my one flash rom android jajajaj

when they finish installing the rom 1 reboot recovery; 2 sistem reboot (so smoothly starts rom)

I can confirm this method works on 1.00.411.4 version I managed to flash the recovery with flashify not withbrashr and mobileuncle, don't know why. Thank you racerotavio

I rooted my Desire 310 using "Root Genius" without a problem

But today i bricked it because i Made a Backup with mtk droid tools and wanted to make cwm for it :/
The reflashing using sp Tool was Bad D;

Root Genius sure works.. just made it through that soft.. btw HTC desire has something called Built-in CDROM in USB conection option .. there you can find all drivers

P.S when you try russians mod (can be found on 4pda) you have to format /system /data and /cache and after you can flash the mod. all 4pda roms works fro me with this method

Btw Russians on 4pda reported HTC Desire 320 rom (KitKat 4.4.2) works on this device, with some issues ofcoz (flickering screen, probably broken WiFi). They are trying to port kernel but I guess it's gonna take long time if ever happens at all. Just a tip for you, maybe you could do it.

Yes you can root phone to get access to all folder , similar to administrator in win and no you wont loose data by rooting the phone. Until you remove something by yourself.

init starts the process /system/bin/eapd, which runs as root. This process’s entire purpose is to run shell scripts as the root user. This process listens for input on a socket that is world readable and writable. This socket should be protected by more strict permissions, and/or a SELinux policy (and eapd likely shouldn’t exist).
