Hi, i tried to install cwm but i failed. I entered in the stock recovery and i selected apply update from sdcard and update.zip but the recovery installed the zip and it didn't return any error. Why? I have installed the last italian update for my desire 310 and my build number is 1.00.401.14

I finally installed cwm and Samsung s5 mod rom. For desire 310 that have build number 1.00.401.14, you must flash international stock rom with SP-FlashTool and after you can flash the cwm by the method explained. If you flash update.zip with build number 1.00.401.14, the recovery will install the zip and won't report any error.

Hey guys,
I don't know if someone already told you how to install CWM, but I want to share what I discovered by translation of 4pda.ru forum.

P.S. I followed this guide and now I'm on Galaxy S5 ROM ported for HTC Desire 310

To install CWM on Single Sim HTC Desire 310, first you have to download:

Steps:

1. Put the OTA (named as update.zip) and the CWM on your SDCard
2. Reboot to Recovery (Volume UP + Power)
3. Select "apply update from sdcard" voice
4. Choose our update.zip (OTA)
5. It will return an error (as our device is already updated) and it will let you choose two options. SELECT REBOOT SYSTEM NOW
6. After the phone is fully booted up, proceed to install the recovery as you wish (You can use Rashr or MobileUncle MTK Tools or whatever you want)
7. After install, reboot to recovery ET VOILA!

CID incorrect

Hello everyone
I succesfully flash my htc desire 310 dual thanks to this site.
But after flashing,my htc says CID INCORRECT
I look at the google and i found solution that i can change my device CID by OTSMART tool, but i can't find anywhere that software.
Now android working perfect but no network,call,text.
Please give me any solution how to change CID of my htc desire 310? Or where can i find that OTSMART software?

Hello Guys!
I have some excellent news!! Finally i managed to put a CWM to my HTC D310! All you have to do is follow this tutorial, it's real easy!


a. Getting the Required files!
1.a Download This. That is a HTC D310 Official Firmware.
2a. Download SPFlashTool and extract it somewhere. (ex. Desktop\FlashTools)
3a. Download MTKDroidTools
4a. Download the Driver and this one too and install them!

cm 12.1 on htc desire 310

HEY GUYS, the android one devices have the same specs as ours and also seem extremely similar, now that we have cwm 6.0.3 for our phone, how would it be if flash a custom kernel, then flash the stock rom of one of the android one devices?
Isnt that a good possibility? We could get cm 12.1 from them, if anyone is on that 4pda thread, guide the russians on to this? They're pretty darn good at stuff like these.

My friends confirmed that the 320 stock rom is flashable with sp flash tools.My friend Alija Huskic reported that after some reboots everything works,just some issues with screen rotation(not a big problem),some screen flickering and a little white stripe resolution problem.Needs some bugfixing but seems stable for daily usage.Pics:

1.Install the driver:

1. Turn off the phone. When it's off, connect the USB cable to the computer, but do not start the cell!
2. When the screen displays your battery charge level (percent) disconnect it.
3. Enter the Device Manager, select View, then Show hidden devices.
4. Other devices should appear MTK65XX Preloader, right-click on it and update the driver.

2.Select options then option
3.Go to the connection tab and select high speed and w/o battery
4. Go to the tab and select the option Download DA DL All with checksum and exit from the options menu.

3.Flashing
1. Go to the Download tab.
2. Press the Download Agent and choose DA_SWSEC.bin.
3. Press the Scatter-loading and choose the scatter loading file(there is one).
4.Use the firmware upgrade option
5. After checking that all is well done, press the button that says Download and green an arrow pointing down.
6. Turn off the phone and pull the batteries.
7. Connect the USB while holding the volume button is responsible for volume down! (VERY IMPORTANT!). When you begin to flash, you can let go of the button.

Thats it.
