Thanks for telling me,I rooted it using root genius but I don't know how to install cwm ,please can help me,I need it
I need your stock boot.img/recovery.img. You can get this from the ota: first download the ota, then, before you install it, pull it with adb, and upload it.

I already got:
Code:
partno: start_sect nr_sects partition_name
emmc_p1: 00000400 00000002 "ebr1"
emmc_p2: 00004800 00005000 "protect_f"
emmc_p3: 00009800 00005000 "protect_s"
emmc_p4: 00014c00 00003000 "sec_ro"
emmc_p5: 0001a000 00010000 "blinkfeed"
emmc_p6: 0002a000 00010000 "flex"
emmc_p7: 0003f000 00267000 "android"
emmc_p8: 002a6000 00064000 "cache"
emmc_p9: 0030a000 00431c00 "usrdata"
Code:
rootfs / rootfs ro,relatime 0 0
tmpfs /dev tmpfs rw,nosuid,relatime,mode=755 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts rw,relatime,mode=600 0 0

tmpfs /storage/emulated tmpfs rw,relatime,mode=705,uid=1023,gid=1023 0 0
/[email protected] /system ext4 ro,noatime,noauto_da_alloc,commit=1,data=ordered 0 0

/dev/fuse /mnt/shell/emulated fuse rw,nosuid,nodev,relatime,user_id=1023,group_id=1023,default_permissions,allow_other 0 0
Then, there is one very very very strange thing about this phone: The source code seems to be released at htcdev.com. And I mean the complete source code, not just the kernel source (or everything but the kernel source code). This will make it really easy to make a custom rom like cyanogenmod
Okay, I downloaded it. It is not the complete source code, but the kernel source. the kernel source. the kernel source.....
Is this just me, or is this the first mtk processor phone that has the kernel source released?

Also, do you have one sim or dual sim?

Hello guys , heard you are the best forum in explaining this situation. So , i have bought an HTC Desire 310 (Dual Sim , quad 1,3 , 1 gb ram) , bought an SD Card 16 GB Memory , but it seems that the phone won't let me install the games on SD Card only one the phone memory. So i tried ways and ways but none of them seemed to work. Then i looked into it and all of the posts are saying that i need a rooted device and Foldermount will do the job. The thing is , i am a rookie with this kind of stuff , i only need an explained an easy tutorial of how to root HTC Desire 310 dual sim , because i really don't know , all the tutorial's out there are complicated and 20 or minimum steps something like that. I don't really need CWM or other stuff 'cause i don't really know what is that :)). So please help a bro out ! Thanks in advance you guys !

I uploaded what you asked for ,and please tell me how can I get that boot.img and recovery.img,so I can upload it well
requirement: have an ota available.

Steps:
1. Download the ota, but don't install it.
2. Pull it to your computer with adb (it's located in a downloads folder)
3. upload it here

If you don't have the ota available, then we'll have to wait for someone who has it.

OTA stands for over-the-air. It's an update from htc. You can check for updates at Settings->Info->Sofware Updates

Be careful to follow the instructions right. If you install the ota, it removes itself, and then your chance is gone. So only download it, then pull it to your computer.

Ok , i rooted my device very simple with vroot , i also installed root genius but it didn't seem to be able to install some driver so i let it go.. All done and good , i did this just for games , to be able to use Foldermount . So the next thing i want to ask you guys is , within the fact that we have only 2gb of space internal memory, let's say i want to install on my device GTA San Andreas which has 2.35 GB or so , i also have and 16 GB SD Card , from foldermount to be able to move the files on the sd card , the game must be installed on the internal phone memory , but i only have 2 gb and the game is 2.35 gb , can anyone help me by telling me how to install this game ? And many other because i only have like about 300-400 mb on internal memory , is it posibile with root and foldermount somehow to install the games directly on the SD Card now ? Or just tell me a metod of how to run 2GB+ games. Thanks guys !

Well foldermount does the same job as this i quite think. But i was saying that i only have 300mb of space left on my internal memory and for foldermount and gl to sd card to do that first i need to install them on the internal memory and i don't have that much space.. so any ideas guys ? How to directly install them on sd card ? Or a tutorial somewhere to make 2gb+ games work.. ??
