Hi, I'm feeling a bit desperate... Actually I tried flashing this splashscreen :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=29393791&postcount=75616

Using the terminal emulator method :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1537841

Everything seemed to be ok until I reboot my Phone and... Bam stuck on bootanimation. I tried a lot of things the whole day (recovery, new rom after a full wipe of course), I even succeeded flashing a new splashscreen but nothing seems to make my Htc Sensation work again.

I've been looking for an answer everywhere I could, but nothing helped me recover my phone.

Sometimes I get stuck on the splashscreen, and sometimes on the bootanimation.

My rom was Android Revolution HD 7.2.

I hope one of you guys will be able to help me. Sorry if I did something nooby...

Please help me unbrick my Htc Sensation !

Hello,
What's your recovery? Whatever it is, i think isn't able to flash boot.img, so extract it from the ROM, and flash it manually through adb after flashing the ROM.

Hello, I've got the 4ext recovery. Should I extract the file boot.img from the ROM itself or from my backup ?
In fact, I tried flashing the boot.img file by following these steps :
recovery -> advanced restore -> boot

Hi,
No don't do that, open up the ROM zip package and you'll see boot.img. flash it manually using adb AFTER flashing the ROM. By the way, flash the ROM with full wipe, not backup.

Hi, I tried your method but the command windows says FAILED "remote : not allowed". What am I supposed to do ? Thank you again for your help
because your bootloader is locked and so you can't perform fastboot commands
see here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1459767
flash 3.33 universal
it will give you also patched hboot which is unlocked
read the instructions carefully
and before flashing check md5 sums(it is important)
after that follow the procedure again(flashing boot.img)

Well... I'm really stuck :( I followed each of your steps :

flash 3.33 universal (successfully)
patched hboot unlocked (successfully)
full wipe
flash ARHD 7.2 (successfully)
flash boot.img through adb (successfully again)

But my phone is still stuck on splashscreen.

Thanks a lot for your advices, they were really helpful, but it didn't work :(

Any other ideas ?

try to flash the splashscreen again
see how it goes
if it fails then i can only say to use a RUU.exe
i am out of ideas:(

Sorry for the really late reply, but did you try re-flashing the ROM? Also, you can try to wipe the data... I don't know if that will help...

Once again, sorry for the late reply, exams in school have been killing me...

Yes ruu is the way..
Find the proper ruu and flash it

Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda premium
I'd like to use a ruu but I don't have any idea about how I can find the right one.
I took this one :
RUU_PYRAMID_ICS_HTC_Europe_3.30.401.1_Radio_11.69.3504.00U_11.22.3504.07_M_test_240585

But I want to be sure before using it, don't want to kill my phone more than it is !

AndroidSupporter318 : No problem if you answered lately, you have not been forced to help me haha ;) Already tried to wipe and reflash, but it didnt work

EDIT : What about these ruu's ? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2128104 Just downloaded ICS for Europe - 2.31.401.2

EDIT 2 : Will I be able to root my phone again (+ s-off, rom custom, etc.) ?

EDIT : "Flash the one you've already taken" -> what do you mean ? The one I've been speaking about or the one I found there : http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2128104 ?
