[Q] HTC Sensation codes and HSPA+ settings

Hello all,

I'm a newbie here with a Tmobile HTC sensation. I was curious to see if my phone can run on ATT 3G and have been getting conflicting information. Some say that the phone can run on ATT 3G some say that one cannot.

Well, I came across a post today on a different forum that delved into different codes for HTC sensation

(sorry can't post links yet)

I tried this code:

This code can be used to get some interesting information about your phone and battery. It shows following 4 menus on screen:

* Phone information
* Battery information
* Battery history
* Usage statistics

and under phone information, there is a settin for network selection, allowing one to toggle between GSM only, CDMA, etc.. This one gives more option than simply going to mobile network setting through the menu.

But this gets more interesting and is the reason for my post here.

Once you enter the code, press the button right next to home button on the very left and you will get the following options:

Select Band Radio | View Sim Address book
-- ------
View Fixed Dialing |View Service Dialing Numers
Numbers
-- ----
GET PDP first *** more

Once you chose Select Band Radio, it will ask you for GSM/UMTS band, ranging for Automatic, EURO band, USA Band, Japan, AUS Band, AUS2 band

I'm curious if may be one of these will allow for ATT 3G?

Could anyone with unlocked HTC Sensation 4G with ATT Sim and data test this and post results?
