[Q] HTC Sensation with HBOOT 0.82.0000 please help..

Hi,
I was a few weeks ago for employment reasons in China,
and I've since bought a HTC Sensation!

I thought: Hey, is not a thing when I'm back in Germany I Flash a new custom firmware, or do I test the ice cream sandwich, but nothing since!

I even checked the HBOOT menu, and this is standing there:

*** LOCKED ***

HBOOT-0.82.0000
MICROP-0459
PRCMU-2.4.69
SOC-2.0
eMMC-boot

then i start the revolutionary tool to look what is standing, and this one came:

Waiting for device...
Found your device: HTC Z710t (pydtd-0.82.0000, Android: 2.3.4, ROM version: 1.58.1403.3)


Your device: pydtd, with HBoot 0.82.0000 is not supported at this time.

Ok now i'm standing for a dilemma, but i go to the site of HTCdev and i had unlocked it there.
Now when look in the BOOTmenu is standing there:

*** UNLOCKED ***
PYRAMID_TD PVT SHIP S-ON RH
HBOOT-0.82.0000
MICROP-0459
PRCMU-2.4.69
SOC-2.0
eMMC-boot

ok now is unlocked, but S-ON is still there.

i Try over fastboot to install the ClockworkMod Recovery V5.0.2.0 like this

cd Desktop\Tools
adb reboot-bootloader
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot reboot

cmd says:

sending 'recovery' (4724 KB)... OKAY
writing 'recovery'... OKAY

but when i want to go to the recovery it freeze up, nothing happens and i can not install any custom firmware.

I don't know what can i do more !
Please help !!!

edit: did you try rom manager from the market on your phone and flash CWM from there?

Dam, a stumper..
Go to settings-about phone and put down hardware info and software info, (i know you put the build but put it again all the same ) baseband info, build info, hardware info (dont put mac address no need or imei). This is good learning..

also if you figured it out please put all of that down. thx

What's the cid on it? You might be able to ruu flash a rom with a hboot that is compatible with revolutionary.

Yes i try it over Rom Manager, but it says :

An error occured while attemting to run privileged commands.

when i start Rom Manager cames the info:

You must root your phone for ROM Manager to function. Superuser was not found at "/system/bin/su" or "/system/xbin/su". Use Google Search on your computer to find instructions to root your Phone.

Hmmm but i have unlocked it by the HTCdev site and in Bootmanager stands "UNLOCKED":

and the cid i don't know, how can get my cid ?

i try flash with the original ruu ( i think it's the original ruu ):

but it won't to be flash, it says that are some mistake !

Since you have a chinese z710t model revolutionary isn't designed to work with it... Nor are any of the roms here... You have an entirely different chipset than the Qualcomm chip in our sensation. Not sure if CWM even works with that version, which is why you recovery is locking up on you.

what can i do now ? still waiting for revolutionary, or is it nearly not possible that CWM works on it ?

Since you're unlocked you can just push su and superuser through adb and install busybox from the market... That will give you root... No help on the Recovery though.

Or try this... Should give you root... No S-off though.

i want to thanks everybody here that wana help me, after intensiv searching in chinese boards, i found i way to get the Recovery modus.

there is a special CWM for the z710t model.

Can you share the recovery you used?

I have:
PG58IMG_z710t_byMAI.zip for the recovery (CWM 5.0.2.0)
z710t_root_by_MAI.zip for the root

I got the root, but I still have the s-on, so I cannot do any backup or install the Gapps.

Revolutionary does not work because it does not support the radio 0.82.0000 (required for the China Mobile 3G).

How about u? Did u get s-on? How did u do?
