[Q] HTC Sensation XE won't boot past bootloader

I have an HTC Sensation XE, which I have had for a few years now. It has developed a fault that, it will boot to the bootloader when I hold in the power and the volume - buttons, I am able to connect it to fastboot usb, but the phone wont boot into android.

The phone is running the stock ICS OTA update from HTC and the bootloader is locked and is S-ON, HBOOT is version 1.29 and I cannot unlock the bootloader through the HTCDEV website, since the unlock token wont work, I believe this is because the motherboard was changed in a warranty repair just over a year ago.

Any advice would be great

Thanks for the reply, I have tried a few RUUs and have had no luck, so I have posted a question in the link you provided
