Q: HUAWEI Ascend G7 EMUI 4.01

Today on official huawei page i have found that there is EMUI 4.01 for ascend g7
http://emui.huawei.com/en/plugin.php?id=hwdownload&mod=detail&mid=78
When you download it, it has extension tar.gz
How to install it and is it even possible??

I just remember
Tried this one.
It is working, but from time to time it just restart it self without any reason.
And stays on boot screen until i restart it.
That is why i downgrade it on 4.4.4.

well, i hit the wall
Tried to update it over "local update" in update section on phone
Tried with 3 button combo.

local update is reporting some error
and 3 button ........well nothing. i was holding 3 button but nothing happen. not even blink.

Unfortunately, that is the Turkish firmware, with the Cust version 464, so if yours does not correspond with C464, then you will not be able to install it, no matter what you do. That is why everyone is waiting for the European version to be released, which will hopefully be soon. :fingers-crossed:

My phone has custom version CUSTC432D001
build number is G7-L01V100R001C00B263
