[Q] I wanna root my lenovo a3500-hv ,, any idea ??

Yes i have found a was how to root it not yet tried it but it might work the trick is to create the CWM and then root it from there.....will post it soon My connection is slow so it will take some time to upload:crying:

I have the a3500-HV, when i installed apk's on my sdcard and reboot my phone, it say's application is not installed.. when i go to sdcard, it gives me 0bytes and just android logo.. please help.. thanks

hey,you are not alone.i have exactly same problem,and i seached all the net,but i dont find out any solution and nobody can help me. but i looking for stock ROM of lenovo a3500 to flash my tablet.i think that is only solution .but there is not any stock ROM for it available now.if you find it say me plz. support center in my country can't solve this problem and said wait for new version 4.4.2 .because in his opinion update my phone can solve my problem! but until that time i have to install my apps and games on tablet storage memory and i use sd card for music and movie files. but i am searching for stock ROM anyway...
only chane that i applied was:
1- root it with kingo
2- uninstall some default apps with clean master
what app you use for root your lenovo?

i tried kingo in my lenovo a3500-hv..it does'nt work.. it cant install the driver..

yes,it can't install the driver,but after you install the driver ,it can root your device.
i accidentaly dawnload and install 'mobogenie' (an andoid app store and file manager) and after installation,drriver automatically installed. and then kingo recognize my device. it isn't good way but that work!

I have been on there for a month since getting my a8-5500-h and becoming aware that the HV & H variants are the same in most lenovo models...it is just a case of swapping the roms.

The directions are not clear even with google translate & so I made an English version....

we have same model..lenovo a3500-hv.. i rooted it by kinggo root..but in version 4.2.2.. i dont upgrade yet..so i didnt know if it is work also in 4.4.2 version.. please try it..and inform me if it success..so that i can upgrade now my rom in 4.4.2 version.. thanks..

Hi I believe there is a way I guess they increased and closed the exploits of rooting in 4.4.2 but I believe there is one way mabe you can check my guide in which how to create CWM by MTK Droidtools the security which closes the rooting exploits are in android O.S. but a recovery works totally separate like a miniature O.S. so when you have android 4.2.2 make a CWM recovery by the MTKdroid Tools and install the recovery then you should upgrade the O.S. and the you should Boot into CWM and attach the USB OTG and start MTK Droidtools then you should see the blue icon in the bottom left side of the program's window the go to the backup ,root ,recovery tab and click on the superuser button then I believe you should get root.

If that fails then try to make CWM recovery then Upgrade to 4.4.2 then Flash the following flashable zip

Note- All in all if you really feel that root access is more important that an upgrade and you still want to try rooting then make an SP Flash tool and nandroid backup and if all fails then revert back to 4.2.2

here the tutorial of what i did in my device.. how i rooted it by kingo root.. i wish it will help you.. i did it in version 4.2.2.. u can try it in 4.4.2...

find kingo root in google.. install it in your pc.. connect your device in your pc by usb connector.. activate the usb debugging in your device.. open now kingo root.. and wait to connect.. if it has no driver.. next you have to do..find mobogenie installer in google.. download it and install it in your pc.. it will install the driver of your device.. wait to finish the installation.. after you install the mobogenie.. you can close it now..or minimize it.. then you go back to kingo root.. you can see kingo root will detect now your device.. just click the ROOT.. and wait to finish.. and viola.. you have now rooted device.. your device will reboot after.. then you can download now root checker.. to check if it success..permanently..

thanks for this information, but unfortunately is not working, i think this software is not supported 4.4.2
where my tablet it's rebooted more than 3 times i don't know if this is a normal behavior. see below image.





if any one know any way to rooting 4.4.2 please update us.
