[Q] i777 super brick / emmc bug brick

Hello everyone,

I am in a big trouble, really need a help....

I was trying to flash ucle5 stock odin rom but ended up with bricking my phone. Right now I can get into download mode, but I can not flash a rom using ODIN and since the phone is bricked I can not get into recovery mode. I tried using I777UCKH7.PIT re-partition and same rom but it is stopping at factoryfs.imh step. I am stuck; guys please help me.

I am willing to donate if you can fix the problem.

If you can get into download mode you are not hardbricked.

Using ODIN or Heimdall.

EDIT: You should change the title. You are not HardBricked.

So you factory reset on stock UCLE5 kernel? That's what I'm getting from the title

it says " Firmware upgrade encountered an issue, Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again " --- I believe it is same for any bricked samsung device.

Brick means it acts like a brick aka no boot or life at all

use kies to restore back to its OEM stage.

Have you tried a different USB port? Are you using the stock cable? Have you tried downloading a different stock ROM? Give one of the Gingerbread stock roms a try and see if the issue persists.

I am having the same problem. I reflashed stock with odin and also on linux, and tried to on kies but it got stuck at 90%. I can't get into recovery either.

Your problem can't be the same unless you flashed i777 firmware on your i727 which would mean death for your phone. But the OP didn't do that. Alas, not the same.

Your problem is not the same because you do not have the same phone and are in the wrong forum. Easy to see why you are in the predicament you're in.

Right i left some details out. It is my friends i777. I own the i727 which works fine. I have the same problem as the OP.

In any case. Is there a solution to this problem.

No recovery. Just a splash screen. I can get into download mode and it allows Stock to be flashed via odin. When I try flashing stock via kies it stops at 90%.
